Recent downloads in Google Chrome explained…
If you are like me, you are doing 10 things at one time in your job or at home. I am a huge multi-tasker! I also download many things from the internet with Google Chrome. I seem to be constantly doing that. What about you?
There are so many times that I say to myself…I wish I could remember what I downloaded two days prior. So, it made me think to write a post on how to show all my recent downloads in Google Chrome. Don’t warn me before closing multiple tabs in Firefox 12
If you are like me, when you are surfing the internet, you probably have about 6 or 7 tabs open at the top of your browser screen viewing 6 0r 7 different website URL’s. Then….I want to exit out of Firefox and have to tell my workstation don’t warn me before closing multiple tabs by clicking the dialog box that comes up.
I know there are some that say that they really like this precautionary measure about closing multiple tabs. Personally, I don’t like seeing the multiple tabs warning. I do love having the multiple tabs at the top though AND I have three monitors to boot using the Matrox Triple Head2go device (which by the way is easy to setup and GREAT). Can you say multi-tasking. You are probably saying, what geek is not like this…ha. Read More…
How to preview emails in Outlook 2010 with the Reading Pane
I really like to use the reading pane in Outlook 2010 to preview received emails prior to opening them. I think this option changed in Outlook 2007. I always try to teach new users of Outlook 2010 to use this option. Hopefully it helps them and will help you from accidentally clicking on a malicious link inside a phishing attempt email. Let’s see how you block popups in the new Firefox Internet browser 12.
It really is a simple process. I know this post is about blocking pop-ups in Firefox but I have another post on how to block pop ups in Google Chrome also here. Read More…

I have had poor eyes my entire life so this post is of particular importance to me. I certainly hope that it helps someone out like it has me. I typically work on a computer for about 10 hours per day between work and home…so any little bit of help that I can get is crucial to me. One of the things I normally do is increase the size of fonts within my browser.
To top it off, I have a Matrox TripleHead2Go Three-Monitor Graphics Expansion – Digital Edition T2G-D3D-IF, which by the way is an awesome way to connect three monitors to one computer. Read More…

Do you want to tell Firefox 12.0 that you do not want to be tracked?
Don’t track my location!
It seems that more and more applications are wanting to track where we are going and where we have been. I would imagine that most of this tracking is used for their marketing purposes. However, I always wonder in the back of my mind if big brother is tracking us in some way. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on this.
To stop your Firefox browser from tracking your movements on the internet, all you need to do is follow these next few easy steps. Read More…
How do I change my Facebook password?
Do you use Facebook?
I bet you do.
Next question, how long has it been since you have changed your Facebook password? Not in a long time…or maybe never? For security reasons, you should develop the habit of changing on a fairly regular basis. Hopefully, no one else is using your Facebook account with your current password. You can check here to see if someone has been using your account from another computer and/or location. By changing your password on a regular basis, you will help to alleviate this problem.
