How to add a favorite website shortcut to your desktop with IE9
If you are like me, there are certain websites that you use every day. Rather than going to Internet Explorer 9 and then typing in the URL or clicking on your favorites and finding that site, there is a faster way to access the site. You can put a website link directly on your desktop as an icon. The following will show you how to do this:
- Go to your favorite website in Internet Explorer 9
- In your Internet Explorer screen, click on File
- Click on Send
- Click on Shortcut to Desktop
That’s it…now you have a shortcut link to your website on your desktop.
