How to add color and effects to a Microsoft Word 2010 document

Most of the time you just want to write Microsoft Word documents with no color or effects, but there are times when you want to make that document look a little special.  With Microsoft Word 2010, this can be done with a few simple clicks.  Aren’t you glad that we are not in the old Microsoft DOS days? I guess that I may be showing my age here…ha.  I must say that I used to love DOS but GUI (graphical user interface) is the way to go.  Enough down memory lane…let’s get cracking on this computer tip.  Here you go:

  • · Open Microsoft Word 2010
  • · Click Page Layout tab at the top of the screen
  • · Click the right arrow beside the Page Color icon
  • · You can select any of the colors you would like
  • · You can also click Fill Effects… and add effects to your page. ..there are many cool effects
  • · You should try many of these out

How about making some great flyers with Microsoft Word…that works.

How about also adding a Watermark to your Word 2010 document….go to: http://pctips4all.com/how-to-add-a-watermark-to-your-microsoft-word-2010-document/

That’s it…

Happy computing!
