Want to change your default search provider in Google Chrome?

I am personally a huge fan of Google search but I am sure that some of you would want like to use another default search provider other than Google.  That being the case, I would like to show you how to change your default search provider in Google Chrome.

Google Chrome options are so easy to change.  That is just another thing that I like so much about using Chrome.

Ok, let’s get to it:

1.  Go into Google Chrome

2.  Click on the Wrench in the top right hand corner

3.  Click on Options

4.  Click on Basics first and then Manage Search Engines…

5.  You will then be given a list of all search providers available.  Let’s say you want to make Bing your provider.

6.  Click and highlight Bing and click Make Default

7.  Once you have done this, then Bing will show as your default search provider as shown below

8.  Click on the “x” on the Options – Search Engine tab

You have now changed your default search provider in Google Chrome.

Hope this will help someone.  Please leave me a comment and tell me what internet browser you like.

How about a new Motorola Xoom Tablet

I think, we can add almost any search engine in Chrome as it supports the $keyword tag.
